The BC Hydro Electric Vehicle (EV) network currently boasts a network of over 160 charging stations throughout British Columbia, with plans for further expansion. Utilize the BC Hydro EV mobile application to access fast charging stations not only in British Columbia but also in various networks across North America. The app allows users to configure charging notifications, check station statuses, and acquire and manage RFID cards for use at charging stations.

The revamped BC Hydro EV app is introducing new functionalities such as:

 <li>Charging activity reports for insightful analysis of your vehicle's charging status</li>
 <li>Enhanced account security through two-factor authentication</li>
 <li>Graphs illustrating peak usage times at chargers to aid in planning your next charge</li>
 <li>Review and rate charging sites and share feedback through images</li>
 <li>Wallet management with auto-reload feature</li>
 <li>Support for higher-powered EV charging ports</li>
 <li>Compatibility with kilowatt-hour-based billing (pending approval from the B.C. Utilities Commission on launch date)</li>
 <li>And more enhancements slated for 2024</li>
